Proposed changes
As you may be aware, Derbyshire’s eight district and borough councils, along with Derby City Council, are currently consulting on proposed changes to councils in Derby and Derbyshire.
The consultation is open from Monday 30 June to Sunday 10 August 2025. Feedback from the consultation will be used to shape the final proposal to Government in November 2025.

The consultation is being conducted with support from Public Perspectives, an independent organisation that works with local councils and communities.
